Jul 16 2018BREAK TIME
We have reached the All-Star break in MLB, though we are well past the halfway point. The Indians have played 95 games, meaning 67 remain. For today, let's just stick with the numbers. The Tribe is 52-43, on pace to win 89 games. That's not good for team with six all stars, but as long as they win the division it really doesn't matter. If the Indians keep the pace the same, Minnesota would have to go 45-23 to catch them. That's not happening. Cleveland has only 16 games left against teams with winning records, and two of those (TB, ANA) are barely .500. By comparison, the Astros have 47 GAMES left against +.500, with 61 games left. So now worries, 'mon. BTW we beg of the front office to get a reliever and an outfielder that can actually play.
