The Canton Post of the State Highway Patrol is investigating a fatal motorcycle crash that occurred around 545pm Monday. The crash occurred on State Route 172, at Robertsville Avenue, in Paris Township, in Stark County. The patrol says, 68 year old John Bennett and his 66 year old wife, Zetta, of Carrollton, were riding a Harley Davidson Road King west on State Route 172, when John lost control of the bike on the edge of the pavement causing the crash and ejecting both riders. Both were taken to the hospital where Zetta Bennett passed away. The incident remains under investigation.
