Akron police are investigating after a woman was shot Tuesday morning. Police say the shooting happened around 950am in the 800 block of Concord Avenue. On scene, police found the 33 year old woman with a gunshot wound to the head. She was transported to Akron City Hospital where she was listed in critical condition. Officers took a 45 year old woman into custody. Detectives are working to determine the circumstances surrounding the shooting and the incident remains under investigation.
