There were no injuries in connection to an Akron house fire over the weekend. The fire broke out just after noon Sunday at a home in the 600 block of Sherman Street. Upon arrival, fire personnel found a 2 story occupied residential structure with heavy fire and smoke showing from one side of the home. Fire crews were able to make quick entry into the home and extinguish the blaze. Again, there were no injuries reported. A cause has not been determined.
