An 11 year old girl injured in a Canton house fire earlier this month was taken off life support and has died. The fire happened just before 8pm on July 12th in the 900 block of 3rd Street NW. When fire crews arrived, they found heavy flames coming from the home. The girl was rescued from the second floor, taken to the hospital, but never regained consciousness. The cause of that fatal fire remains under investigation.
