Around 2pm Sunday, a motorcycle collided with a vehicle resulting in serious injury to the motorcycle driver. Akron police say the vehicle was traveling southbound on Mohawk Avenue. the motorcycle was heading eastbound on Onondago Avenue. Police say the 60 year old motorcyclist was not wearing a helmet and was ejected. He sustained serious head injuries and broken bones. The driver of the vehicle was not injured. It is unknown if speed or alcohol were factors in the incident.
