Stow man sentenced for trying to aid ISIS

A disgraced U.S. Army solider from NE Ohio has been sentenced to 14 years in prison after being caught in a sting operation, offering terrorists ambush of U.S. Servicemen in the middle East. 24 year old Cole Bridges, of Stow, was making headlines in January of 2021 when he was arrested at Fort Stewart in Georgia. Court records show Bridges pleaded guilty last year to providing material support to the Islamic state Organization. Upon his release from prison he will serve 10 years of supervised release.
