Tragedy as a local couple was killed in a motorcycle crash in Medina County. According to the Ohio State Highway Patrol, the crash happened around 6:15pm Friday on State Route 303, near State Road in Hinkley Township. investigators say a Harley Davidson was heading east when it went left of center to pass a pickup truck and a Freightliner commercial truck. The motorcycle collided head-on with a Jeep Cherokee. The Harley driver, 42 year old Ricky Iammarino, and passenger, 38 year old Rachel Iammarino, of North Ridgeville, were pronounced dead at the scene. Investigators say they weren’t wearing helmets at the time of the crash. There were no other serious injuries. According to authorities , the couple leaves behind 3 children, ages 11,13, and 16.
