Akron police are investigating after 2 people were shot on Christmas Eve. According to police, this happened when two contractors had arrived to board up a home on Hillwood Drive. a man living in the home emerged with a handgun and started shooting, striking 1 contractor in the leg. The other contractor returned fire striking the man in the leg. Paramedics treated both men at the scene. Their wounds are considered non-life threatening. Detectives are investigating.
