New leadership at Akron School Board

Akron’s Board of Education has voted new leadership amid the ongoing investigation into the district’s superintendent. Carla Jackson will serve as board president, while Bruce Alexander will serve as vice president. Both won by votes of 4 to 3. Jackson says her election will not effect the independent investigation in Superintendent Dr. Michael Robinson, who is facing allegations of misconduct, including bullying and inappropriate behavior, and claims of sending disappearing emails.
