The City of Akron and Akron Bicentennial Committee are moving ahead with plans to create a new city logo. The goal is to reveal it at the city’s bicentennial closing ceremony on December 6th. The city’s latest logo has been used since 2023. The city issued a request for proposals to find a designer and launched a survey to gather input. QR codes for the survey will be available at public locations with paper copies also provided. Proposals are due by May 19th.
