One of the four teens riding in a vehicle believed to be speeding died after it overturned in Portage C, according to the Ohio State Highway Patrol. OSHP says that the crash happened on Scotts Corners Road about a half-mile NW of Jones Road in Palmyra Township around 10pm on Friday night. The preliminary investigation revealed the Camaro was heading SE on Scotts Corners Road when it went off the right side of the road into a ditch. The vehicle then struck a utility pole and several small trees, and overturned. A 16 year old Palmyra boy was pronounced dead at the scene. His name has not yet been released. The 3 other teens were transported to the hospital with minor injuries. OSHP says speed appears to be a contributing factor in the crash.
