Teen arrested in alleged threat to local high school

Kent police have arrested a 17 year old in connection with an alleged threat made recently that resulted in cancellation of classes at the school. Kent police say the boy was taken into custody late last week and has been charged with second-degree felony inducing panic. Police say they were alerted to a vague threat on social media late Tuesday evening, as a precaution classes were cancelled at Kent Roosevelt High School on Wednesday of last week.
