This morning, a procession and memorial service will be held in Cleveland to remember and honor the life of Officer Jamieson Ritter, who was shot and killed in the line of duty on the Fourth of July. The procession starts at 920am, with the service starting at 955am at the Cathedral of Saint John the Evangelist , 1007 Superior Avenue, in Cleveland. While the memorial service will be held right here, the officer’s funeral will take place in Rochester, New York, where Ritter was born and raised. The suspect in Ritter’s shooting, 24 year old Delawnte Hardy is being held on a $5 million bond.
