A 33 year old Akron man was found dead early Saturday morning outside the Exhale Hookah Lounge in Akron. Around 2:15am Saturday, police responded to the bar after receiving multiple 911 calls about a man being shot outside the establishment in the 500 block of East Exchange Street. EMS was called to the scene where 33 year old Kenneth Gay, of Akron, was pronounced dead. No arrests have been made. Police say there have been 2 other shootings outside of Exhale Hookah since 2022. In an August 2022 shooting, one person was shot, and in an April of 2023 incident, there was a triple shooting. The victims of those incidents survived. Those cases remain unsolved.
