Authorities are investigating after a 46 year old Portage County woman was struck and killed late Wednesday night. She was struck by 2 vehicles. Ohio state Highway Patrol troopers say the woman was crossing SR 59 around 945pm when she was hit by a dark colored pick-up truck traveling eastbound on 59. Troopers say the vehicle then fled the scene. a second driver, a 43 year old Lake Milton man, was also driving eastbound on 59 approaching Wal-Mart. when he saw the victim laying in the road. The man told troopers he was unable to avoid her and struck her. He then pulled off to the side of the road in an attempt to stop other motorists.
