A mother and a grandfather, who were supposed to care for a toddler, instead are going to prison. 24 year old Kayera Lenoir and her father, 59 year old Timothy Lenoir, were each sentenced to 2 and a half years in prison. 2 year old Valentina Lenoir died after somehow ingesting fentanyl inside an Akron home in October of 2022. Kayera pleaded guilty last month to involuntary manslaughter, a felony of the 3rd degree and endangering children. Timothy was convicted of endangering children.
