The American Red Cross is asking for help after Hurricane Helene left devastation in its wake, causing the cancellation of blood drives and the loss of thousands of blood donations. The Red Cross has already deployed over a thousand disaster workers and created shelter for those in need, and now must prepare for Hurricane Milton, expected to hit later today. As an incentive, the Red Cross is offering a $10 Amazon gift card to all who donate by October 31st. Donors will also be entered to win one of three $5,000 gift cards.
