A car crashed through a Swensons in West Akron on South Hawkins Avenue over the weekend. No major injuries were reported to any employees. It happened Saturday night and the restaurant remains closed. However, starting today, the restaurant’s food truck will be serving from 11am to 11pm each day until the building is ready to reopen. Akron police say a 30 year old female driver faces several charges for the accident, including failure to control.
