Pizza driver robbed of dough

A 14 year old boy was arrested following a pizza delivery robbery in Akron. Officers responded to the 60 block of Brighton Drive around 6:30pm Friday and met a 21 year old Domino’s delivery driver. According to the victim, he was confronted by 3 males, one of whom had a handgun. At gunpoint, the suspects took the pizza, cash, key fob, and fled on foot. Responding officers tracked footprints in the snow to a residence in the 40 block of E. Emerling avenue and detained the teen, who matched the description of one of the suspects involved in the robbery. The 14 year old later admitted to his role in the robbery and was charged with aggravated robbery and taken to the Summit County Juvenile Detention Facility. Investigators are working to identify the other suspects, also teens.
