A 23 year old Akron man is facing charges for the death of a 12 year old boy. On Saturday afternoon, police were called to reports of a heart attack on South Balch Street where they found an unresponsive child. He was taken to Akron Children’s Hospital where he was later pronounced dead. Police determined that foul play was involved and now 23 year old Anthony McCants of Akron faces various charges. The investigation is ongoing.
