Canton plant to close, laying off workers
A Canton metal manufacturing plant, Metalco, will permanently close in June, with 71 workers being laid off. The official closing date is June 6th. The company says some of the workers were offered other jobs at one of it’s other U.S. locations, including its Lordstown plant.
